Ovary conditions: Introduction
Any condition that involves the ovaries. The ovaries are a pair of female reproductive organs which produce eggs and female hormones. Thus, ovary disorders have the potential to affect a woman's fertility and hormonal balance. Once menopause is reached the function of the ovaries declines and eventually egg production and menstruation stops and there is a change in the associated hormone production. Examples of ovary conditions includes ovarian cancer, infertility, menstruation and infertility.
