Breast cancer therapy can cause ongoing lethargy

A study has found that 30% of women who have undergone breast cancer treatment complain of persistent loss of energy in the first 5 years after therapy, with 60% of them stating the lethargy continued for longer. Experts believe that the cause of their fatigue is influenced by dual therapy (chemotherapy and radiation), depression, cardiovascular disease and persistent pain.
