Muscular layer of gallbladder: muscular tunic of the gallbladder, consisting of layers of smooth muscle fibers coursing in various directions immediately external to the mucosa of the gallbladder. SYN: tunica muscularis vesicae biliaris [TA], muscular coat of gallbladder*, tunica muscularis vesicae felleae*, muscular tunic of gallbladder.
