Mononucleosis

Mononucleosis: Introduction

Mononucleosis is a common infectious viral disease transferred in saliva or kissing. It is also called "glandular fever" outside the USA, or other names such as "mono" and "infectious mononucleosis". The cause is a virus called the Epstein-Barr virus.
