  • Carbon monoxide poisoning: Poisoning from breathing air with too much carbon monoxide, usually from combustion.
  • Carbon monoxide poisoning: Carbon monoxide (CO). A poisonous colorless, odorless, tasteless gas. It combines with hemoglobin to form carboxyhemoglobin, which has no oxygen carrying capacity.
