Glossary for Autoimmune oophoritis
- Autoimmune diseases: A group of disorders in which the primary cause is the an inflammatory reaction caused by the body's own immune system attacking tissues
- Bleeding symptoms: Any type of bleeding symptoms.
- Fever: Elevation of the body temperature above the normal 37 degrees celsius
- Infertility: Inability of couples to establish pregnancy by having sexual intercourse over a period of time, usually more than 1 year in length.
- Lower abdominal pain: The occurrence of pain located in the lower abdominal region
- Malaise: General feelings of discomfort or being ill-at-ease.
- Menopause: The end of female menstruation and fertility.
- Nausea: The queasy feeling of nausea and often also vomiting.
- Oophoritis: Ovary inflammation
- Ovary conditions: Any condition that affects a female ovary
- Vaginal discharge: Discharge from the vagina as a symptom
